Disney Entertainment Productions is casting face characters and dynamic vocalists for Festival of the Lion King and The Golden Mickeys shows. Six-month contracts begin this fall at the Hong Kong Disneyland® Resort.
Character descriptions:

Festival of the Lion King:
Male (Simba) - aged 18+. Youthful, energetic, moves well, charming, African prince destined to become "King of the Jungle," sings "I Just Can't Wait to be King" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," pop tenor.
Female (Nala) - aged 18+. Youthful, beautiful African princess, moves well, playful, independent and strong, performs "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," pop soprano.
Male (Scar) - aged 18+. Menacing presence, Simba's evil uncle, sings "Be Prepared," baritone; Storyteller: African host, engaging presence, tells the story of The Lion King, sings "The Circle of Life," soulful pop alto. (The

Female (Belle) - aged 18+. 5'2"- 5'7", moves well, from the Disney animated classic Beauty and the Beast, performs "There’s Something There," soprano.
Face Characters:
Females: 18+, 5'2"-5'7", poised, graceful, to portray heroines made famous in Disney films like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Alice in Wonderland, performing experience is not required.
Auditions for face characters:

- May 8, 10 a.m, Hollywood
- Or May 10, 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. (sign-in begins 30 minutes prior)
- Callbacks same day.
- Bring a current photo.
Auditions for vocalists:
---------------------------
- May 9, 2 p.m. for females and 3:30 p.m. for males (sign-in begins 30 minutes prior), Hollywood.
- Vocalists must prepare two vocal selections of contrasting styles (best 16 bars of each)
- An accompanist will be provided.
- Be familiar with your desired roles' song(s).
- Prepare to learn a movement combination.
- Bring current pictures and resumes.
