Two winners will be awarded full scholarships to The PIT’s year-long improvisation program

NBC Universal, in partnership with the Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT), is seeking talent for a diversity scholarship program. Two winners will be awarded full scholarships to The PIT’s year-long improvisation program, from Level 1 through Level 5; each level is eight weeks long. Katie Goan, managing director. Program is held at The Pit in NYC; winners will be announced by September 1st.
Send full contact information (address, phone and email), performance resume (if available), and a five-minute DVD/application. DVDs should include information about yourself such as your background, your favorite performance experience, comedic role models, etc., as well as an original short performance of a sketch, character monologue, or comedic bit; additional performers may be used if needed. Be creative. Submission deadline is August 1st; submissions received after August 1st will not be accepted. No fees required. No pay, but full scholarships provided for two winning performers.
