APA International Film School seeks actress for short film
Synopsis:

George is an 80 year old man who is in a coma after a fatal car accident that killed his granddaughter. His family is burdened with the loss of their only child and the financial burden of keeping George on life support. Although unconscious, George continuously searches, lost in his guilty mind, trying to find his dead granddaughter. Meanwhile the relationship between his son in law Dave, and his daughter Ann, continues to deteriorate from the struggle of keeping George alive and coping with the death of their child.

Ann- A deeply emotional woman, distraught by her daughter’s death, who is losing her grip on reality, she seems distant and separated from the rest of the world. She pays no attention to her appearance, and tends to stare off into the distance for long periods of time. No one can tell if she is disturbed or simply deep in thought. She is able to function in everyday activities by virtue of deeply ingrained habit alone. She has deep underlying emotions that can only be discovered through her eyes, which penetrate the hard outer shell into which she has retreated. She is on the verge of a mental breakdown, but holds it off by numbing herself from everyone and everything.
