'DIRT'
Synopsis:

JOHN is isolated in his kitchen when a catastrophic event causes his house to sink underground. After several attempts to escape (one of which nearly kills him) he creates a second personality which is able to deliver basic needs to keep him alive. John however is focused on getting out of the house, something he already subconsciously knows how to do. What John doesn't realise is that ignorance is bliss.
Character:

John is a placid 20 plus (age limit is 40) man who is placed under incredible stress. He is proactive in his circumstances but depression bubbles very close to the surface. A strong male actor is required to take on the dark material of the script. Needs to be able to cry on cue. Actor will be able to address the camera as if it were a person. Stunt training a plus. Actor must be of normal to slight build.
The role is unpaid, however this is a professional set. Film is expected to do the festival circuit.
