Male Actors (18-35) for a short film to feature on the Community Channel.
The short film called "Curse Of The Bands" is a surreal action comedy that will be shot in Nottingham on weekdays starting in August.
Synopsis: ------------ Reece Blu is a good guy but is stuck living in the crime ridden town Woolanton. (A fictional town based on Nottingham). He is stuck in a dead end job in a mini mart; Reece struggles to fulfil his dream of fighting back against the thugs who rule the neighbourhood. He hopes to one day open his own school of self-defence so people can fight back against the thugs
Stage combat or martial arts experience is an advantage but is not necessary. This is an ideal opportunity for students on holiday with lots of free time.
Casting: ------- Tommy (close friend of the lead character) Todd (The lead villain) and Face (a masked sidekick villain).
"Curse Of The Bands" is an unpaid acting opportunity, although we will provide DVDs of the completed product to actors free of charge for their CV - We can't afford travel expenses therefore we can only consider more local percipitants (From the Midlands) as it will be shot in Nottingham. I'm also expecting production to last no longer than August.
We will contact select candidates for meetings in Arnold Nottingham the dates will be set according to the responses received, All auditions should take place during the first week of August.
