‘That One Night’ Student Short Film
Synopsis:

A comical and surreal short student film. Four friends spend the night in around a table as they joke, converse, eat, smoke and drink. Most importantly, they all are playing the board game scrabble and as the night goes on they unknowingly begin to form words of the seven deadly sins. As each word is spelt, a flashback is seen where two of the four are in a sticky scenario relevant to that sin. The film will be shot in a highly professional studio and on location around Kingston-upon-Thames. The film will feature no dialogue, as the visuals (accompanied with a soundtrack), will tell the story. This film heavily relies on good actors who have the ability to improvise, play a range of facial expressions and be exaggerate/comical.

This is a major student production part of a final year university course. The film will be shown to a wide audience including the much-anticipated end of year degree show, professionals from the industry and entry to exhibitions and festivals so exposure is guaranteed. As a student production, a very limited budget exists. However all traveling expenses will be covered (within reasonable limits) and food/drink provided during all shoots. Full dedication and commitment is vital to this production. Working on this project is the ideal way to showcase your acting skills, gain experience and boost your own show reel and CV.

Shoot days – 28/29 March (studio shoot), 01/02 April (location shoot)
