Final year film student seeking nine, mainly Asian, actors for final piece
Final year film student seeking nine actors for final piece. Four girls and five guys are needed. Must be over 18 but young looking (able to fit into roles of 18-21yr old).
Synopsis:

A popular and witty script, this short film is set at Aarti's 21st birthday party. The hall houses somewhat of a reunion between the characters, but the girls soon discover Aarti isn't as nice as she appears to be. But revenge is sweet...at least if the wrong person isn't accidentally screwed over. Contains dash of jealousy, pinch of confusion, hint of backstabbing, a slice of pineapple and one romantic undertone.
Character descriptions:

Female (Aarti) - Asian, standard undercover hard women.
Female (Farah) - Asian, principled and not one to be walked over. Not as boring as she sounds.
Female (Sonya) - Asian, usually a happy-go-lucky girl but her jealously is aroused after seeing Aarti play with Adam's hair, who she is convinced should be in love with her.
Female (Irum) - Black girl stuck in a smaller-then-usual Asian girl's body. Lured at the party by promise of hot Arab men, who aren't actually there.
Male (Adam) - One who everyone would like to talk to and know, but he prefers to keep to himself.
Male (Teyfun, pronounced typhoon) - Good Looking Asian guy who has some history with Farah.
Male (Average Asian chap) - Average Asian chap.
Male (Mo) - A Christian Arab and good looking.
Male (Hayden) - Attractive and fly white guy.

Auditions will be held April/May and chosen actors will be needed for 2-4 days, leeway for emergencies included. Lunch will be included, so need not lay awake wondering if food packed for the day will be sufficient. Travel costs will also be reimbursed and of course a copy of the DVD for actors own show reel.
