Actors required for very difficult scenes, applicants from Midlands or Staffordshire area preferred
Darkly themed and dramatic short film by final year degree student in which a man gives birth after leaving his pregnant girlfriend. Slightly surreal, gritty drama.
Auditions will be held towards the end of October in Stoke-on-Trent, filming will take place around the middle of November in or near Stoke-on-Trent.
All applicants will be considered but applicants from the Midlands or around Staffordshire preferred.
The roles are unpaid but all expenses will be covered for successful applicants who will also receive a high quality DVD copy of the film.

Males, aged 20 to 40 from the United Kingdom
Reasonably attractive but rough in appearance. Will be required to eat either an apple or pomegranate. Will be the focus of the film and should provide a good acting challenge as you will have to appear to be giving birth.

Shocked man
Males, aged 18 to 30 from the United Kingdom
A small but very important role. He witnesses the first man giving birth after having just taken a bite of another apple.
