Extras required for drama pilot based on the life of Henry VIII within a modern day context
Final year students from Birmingham City University are looking for budding actors, actress to star as extras in a pilot episode of “Hal’s Gym” - a drama, which documents the life of Henry VIII within a modern day context.
Times and dates we need people for:

Thursday 26th Feb
- Three attractive females wanted. You will be required to run on a treadmill for a few minutes. Shooting will be finished before 12.30pm. (exact time to be confirmed.)
- Male needed to play Francis Dereham. Required to speak a few lines and wear a suit. Shooting will be between 7am – 11am.
- Ten male and female extras needed to be extras in a gym. Filming will be finished before 12.30pm (exact time to be confirmed).
- One male or female extra needed as gym assistants to say a few lines. Will need to wear navy tracksuit bottoms and trainers (t-shirts will be provided). Shooting will proceed at 9am and be finished by 11.30am.
Saturday 1st March
- Male or female needed (preferrably same actor used on Thursday, point 3)needed for a party scene to be shot between 6pm – 8pm.
- Male needed to play one of Hal’s friends, Henry Percy. Shooting will be between 6pm – 8pm.
- Male and female extras needed in party scene between 6pm - 8pm.
Sunday 2nd March
– Girls used for treadmill scene on Thursday will also be needed between 5.30pm and 7pm
Monday 3rd – Friday 7th March
Below is a list of extras needed between the dates above. Exact time and dates to be confirmed.
- Ten male extras needed to play vicars – need to wear black trousers, black shirt and black shoes. Dog collars are provided.
- Four female strippers needed to ‘strip’ in-front of ‘vicars’ – only required to reveal bra.
- Fifteen male/female extras to play gym assistants. – need to wear navy blue tracksuit bottoms, navy blue polo shirt and trainers. Do not hesitate to ask me if you do not have any part of this uniform.
- Three handsome males needed in passionate scenes with female actress.
- Two males needed to play threatening gangster type characters.
All filming will take place in Birmingham.
Each cast member will receive a DVD of the final programme which they will be able to use for their own show reel.
