HBO is looking for real people to videotape themselves lip synching to “Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros” for possible exhibition on various television, internet and new media sites. Note: all minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
If your video is selected, HBO will pay each individual $250 for the unlimited right to exploit it in connection with Flight of the Concords, and you will be required to sign a release to that effect. Again, HBO is looking for real people (preferably bona fide fans of Flight of the Concords) to create home-style videos of themselves, not professional actors performing in professional-quality productions. Videos must be received by Wednesday, October 15th!
Each of the videos must fall into one of the ten categories listed below:

- Two guys: 16-25 years old. Any ethnicity, Classic FoTC /YouTube user demographic.
- Guy and girl: 16-25 years old. Any ethnicity, Classic FoTC /YouTube user demographic
- Two African American guys:.-18-30 years old
- Group of 3 to 8 females: Any ethnicity. 16-30 years old
- Group of 4 to 8 people: 16-36 years old, doing both singing/rapping and back-up dancing. Any ethnicity or gender.
- One male solo performer doing both parts: 16-30 years old. Any ethnicity.
- One female solo performer- doing both parts: 16-24 years old. Any ethnicity.
- Group of 3 to 8 elderly people:- 70 years old and above. At least one woman. Any ethnicity.
- Child: 10 or younger. Any ethnicity.
- Two children: 10 or younger. Any ethnicity.
How to submit:

Please videotape your group (select from one of the groups above) lip synching to “Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros.” In these videos, the more choreography and more accurate lip-sync the better. We encourage people to use props such as Jemaine glasses or anything else they can think of that relates to the show and/or particular songs. Creative wardrobe choices are also encouraged, whether they be coordinated with each other in the group settings or simply chosen to resemble Bret’s and Jemaine’s clothing. Back yards and front porches are also acceptable settings in addition to bedrooms, living rooms and rec. rooms.
***Note: for videos 8 & 9 above, the children and the elderly can get away with pantomiming the rapping if necessary. Dancing and screen presence is more crucial than accurate lip sync.
The exceptions are:

- For the elderly group, we would like accurate sync and a little something special for the lyrics (in the Hiphopopotamus song) “There ain’t no party like my nana’s tea party. Hey, Ho.”
- For the child(ren), we would like accurate sync and a little something special for the part in the Hiphopopotamus song that mentions “Steve”
