A Los Angeles based theatre company is casting for a play going to the Ediburgh Fringe Festival

Choke Point
Orange Tent (prod.) is casting Choke Point, a modern drama based on the events surrounding the downfall of New York Times journalist, Jayson Blair. Writer/Dir Colm Byrne. Rehearsals start July 1 in Los Angeles. Performances run August 14-19th in Edinburgh, Scotland for the 2007 fringe festival.
Important: Travel to and from Edinburgh is your own responsibility. Shared lodging is available at your option. Do not apply if you cannot confirm travel arrangements prior to rehearsal start.
Seeking—lead: Jayson: late 20s-30s, charismatic, intense. African-American.
Walter: 60's, An undertow of a damaged past. African-American
Lee: 18-24. Teen Jamaican sniper convert to Islam. African-American
Mullman:50's-60's: Relentless, stony editor. Caucasian
Julie: late 20's-30's: very strong, dedicated. Caucasian
Lilly: 18-24. Teen country girl. Latino/Caucasian Auditions will be held on June 20th & by appointment thereafter in Los Angeles.
