The Curan Repertory Company is accepting submissions for Pay The Price, an original play by Robert Tambourino.
Plot summary:
-------------
Pay the Price is about the intersection of two wars. It is late September 2002 (just after President Bush's "Axis of Evil" speech). A Vietnam Vet is listening to a radio show and it triggers a flashback to his tour of duty in Vietnam. He and his fellow soldiers battle each other, policies, discrimination, and the enemy. The play returns to 2002 as the U.S. has started it's war on terrorism. The Vietnam veterans are forced to confront their past war as the present one looms in their lives.
We are casting for the following roles:

Nathan (35-44) Black. He is a big man in size and emotion. He sees himself as a revolutionary, a fighter for change.
Domenic (34-44) Italian-American. Harmony/lead singer of a capella group. A jersey guy. Strong willed, but has a sense of humor.
Vega (35-44) Latino. trying to survive and find a place for himself.
Tony (34-43) Black. lead/harmony singer of a capella group. The mediator of the group.
McCleod (20's) Black. Harmony/singer. Likes to joke around.
