London and Edinburgh Fringe touring comedy/tragedy, based on a true story
Synopsis:

Anna and Rose "Weapons of Mass Seduction". Based on a true story of two serial killing sisters from North Africa, the first women to receive the death penalty in Africa, back in the 1920s. This is a comedy/tragedy, filled mystery, culture, surprises and seduction.

The production will begin its national tour in London for 3 weeks in August 2008, heading to the Edinburgh Fringe 2009. Auditions and rehearsals take place in Derby, East Midlands. Please provide a contact number when applying.

Mona
Females, aged 25 to 50 from the United Kingdom
Described as a modern day medusa, this term is rather fitting for the evil stepmother in the play. She is the personification of sinister, and is cold enough to send chills down the spine on a hot day. She is emotionless and without any feminine charm, calculating and manipulative. Her entrance is an explosion and the impact permanently alters the direction of the story. Her dark spirit infects the story and brings about a chilling tragedy within the play. Basha
Males, aged 25 to 60 from the United Kingdom
A powerful prince from a long standing, wealthy upper class family. Basha is a middle aged man with a deep burdened past. He walks with the weight of his actions on his shoulders; his redeeming joy is his daughter Vivienne, whom he thinks the world of. Basha is a victim of the class divide and looks down on the lower levels, without being aware he is doing so. In his own mind he is against this, and he would turn from his status to follow love; however his past has proven this is too hard a choice to face.
