Audition Notice: The Importance of Being Earnest
Enjoy participating in Oscar Wildes comic masterpiece 'The Importance of Being Earnest' considered one of the wittiest plays ever written. The original script has been kept in tact but additional scenes have been inserted creating a play within a play, adding to the farcical nature of the piece. This production offers the cast the opportunity to be truly innovative and have fun with their parts.
Open auditions are to be held between 6.15- 10pm on Wednesday 5th November within a stones throw of Bethnal Green tube.
Rehearsals will take place on Wednesday evenings in Bethnal Green from the 12th of November till Wednesday the 4th of February. Not everyone will be called for each rehearsal. The performance dates are Friday the 6th of February and Saturday the 7th of February. The intention is to take the production to the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival
