Blue Dye Productions are currently auditioning for the role of Mr Robinson and Mr Braddock in a theatre adaptation of The Graduate. Performance dates are 11th to 23rd August at the Edinburgh Festival. Rehearsals will start as soon as possible for a two week duration in York. Auditions are being held by invitation in York, however applicants may send a video audition if travelling to York is inconvenient.
Plot Summary ------------- After a successful debut in the West-End, Terry Johnson’s stage adaptation of the classic movie comes to the Fringe for the first time in this exciting new production. Benjamin Braddock finishes college to find himself confronted with the daunting prospect of adulthood and all that it entails. After initially falling prey to the seductions of Mrs Robinson, the wife of his father’s business partner, Ben soon learns that he needs more than she can offer and falls in love with her daughter Elaine. But what will his parents think? And what about Mr Robinson?
Payment details ---------------- This is an unpaid production. Accommodation will be provided during rehearsal time however cast are required to pay for their accommodation at the festival.
