London and Ed-Fringe Touring Comedy, culturally diverse male and female characters of any appearance welcomed to apply for a three week production in London and a national tour. The national Tour begins in London, August 2008 and will go to Edinburgh Fringe, 2009

A cultural storm is brewing on the horizon; the thunder and lightning of the Spanish/Moroccan fiery inferno will dazzle, shock, and captivate audiences with an enriching, immersive show, the likes of which have never been seen on stage before.
Vine-yard Theatre Company gladly presents “Anna and Rose – Weapons of Mass Seduction”. Set in a Spanish/Moroccan town with characters from all walks of life, a culturally diverse, disparate community, showing unity through distinctiveness, and the enrichment of heritage through the exhibition of exotic, exceptional, and enchanting extravaganzas from the furthest reaches of the world, the finest renditions exemplifying unique societies and cultures; sharing and reciprocating ideas, ideals, styles and fashions.
Following the lives of two sisters who have faced adversity; forced to overcome dangers and suffering that has now shaped their lives; the story of Anna and Rose tells of the cataclysmic event that drags the two sisters down into the dreadful past they worked so hard to escape. What follows is a turbulent journey, filled with murders, romance, seduction, surprises, and startling scenes of wondrous awe and a prestigious, passionate, provocative phenomenon that shall immerse, captivate, and forever change audiences.

Mona
Females, aged 25 to 50 from the United Kingdom
Described as a modern day Medusa, this term is rather fitting for the evil stepmother in the play. She is the personification of sinister, and is cold enough to send chills down the spine on a hot day. She is emotionless and without any feminine charm, calculating and manipulative. Her entrance is an explosion and the impact permanently alters the direction of the story. Her dark spirit infects the story and brings about a chilling tragedy within the play. Mona is a tall, imposing woman.

Basha
Males, aged 30 to 50 from the United Kingdom
A powerful prince from a long standing, wealthy upper class family. Basha is a middle aged man with a deep burdened past. He walks with the weight of his actions on his shoulders; his redeeming joy is his daughter Vivienne, whom he thinks the world of. Basha is a victim of the class divide and looks down on the lower levels, without being aware of it. In his own mind he is against this and he would turn from his status to follow love; however his past has proven this is too hard a choice to face.

Biggies Mama
Females, aged 20 to 50 from the United Kingdom
She has a young son and no other family. She?s lively, a gossip, comical and sassy. The audience will love to see her downfall. Deep down, she is lonely and envious, and is jealous of others.Biggies mama is a wonderful character who wouldn’t be out of place on a Jerry Springer show. A typical nosy next-door neighbour who wants to be involved in everything and be the first to make trouble.
