LA based non union, low budget independent film requires male and female actors
When your life is as mundane as they get, your days are spent wondering when you'll be fired, your parents would rather buy a collectible figurine than talk to you, and the girl you think may have been your soul mate is laying dead on a slab in the coroners office...what do you do? Leave everything behind, embark on a tawdry affair with an overweight professional house sitter and find out more about yourself in 2 months than you have in your 27 years of life. But after that, you still wonder, what else is there?
If this got your attention then we want YOU to audition for our little project. This is a character driven, NON UNION, low budget independent film. Which of course means payment is deferred. We are confident that it will do well in the film festival circuit. But a good script needs good actors.
Lead roles:

Amy: Female Lead
Voluptuous (i.e. overweight but not obese) easy going, but eccentric girl with a twisted sense of humor and EXTREMELY charismatic.
Jacko: Supporting Male Lead
Wise beyond his 26 years, always seems hungry, but never gains an ounce. A distracted smart ass best friend type, who's always there for his friends.
Elizabeth: Supporting Female Lead
Small part, but crucial to the story. Beautiful, young, the alluring girl next door type. 1 day shoot. Plus 2 day photoshoot. KEY CHARACTER!
Supporting roles (5 and 6 Lines each):

Male: 40-50 y.o. Caucasian. All American Dad type. Jewish
Female: 18-24 race open. thin/artsy type.
Male: 20-30 Asian, Cocky doctor type.
Female: 20-35 attractive with a few extra pounds.
Male: 20-40 Latino (Spanish speaking +)
Male: 20-40 Latino (Spanish speaking +)
Female: 20-40 Latino (Spanish speaking +)
All who participate will receive meals, and a copy of the finished product. Once again, there is no monetary compensation for your talents at this time, but payment will be deferred, depending on performance in Festivals.
The Deadline for submissions is December 23rd for the leads
January 7th for all others.
Filming will be from Mid January-late February.
