Hello there, we are looking for a number of actors to perform as pushy, VIP journalists and editors at a Salon Fashion Show on the 21st June 2012 (6pm- 9pm) central Sydney. This will be a one night only event and should be lots of fun!

The performance is based on the Chanel archives at the Powerhouse Museum and the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale the Emperors New Clothes. The performance explores how we experience fashion through words and descriptions. The models will be naked but they will walk and pose as if they are wearing the Chanel garments described. Through these descriptions the audience is invited to imagine what these clothes might look like.

Your role as the VIP guest (fashion journalist, celebrity, designer) will be to interact with the 'real' audience who have come along to see the show. You will perform a bit of a spectacle at the entrance to the show that will ruffle the 'real' audiences feathers. You will be seated in the front row of the show looking extremely important.
