Starting in the next few months we'll be shooting a 90 minute
psychological - thriller feature set in the Hong Kong expat banking
community. It's a feature film with very modest funding, but we are
shooting on film and we are doing this properly.
Since we'd ideally like to cast the film from actors who are already
based in Hong Kong, we're doing a bit of a casting call for some of
the key roles which we'll then build the rest of the cast around.
If this sounds interesting to you, and you think you fit any of the
rough character profiles we'd love you to send your reel through.
We'll reply to anyone who does so, and for those of you who seem
like a good fit we can grab a coffee and discuss the film further.
1) Western expats - male- 25-35yo
There are several key roles which we need to fill here - not especially
concerned about country of origin (US/UK/Australia/etc) but natural English
speaker is required. These guys are young, smart, and ambitious - willing
to do what it takes to get ahead.
2) Western expats - male - 45-50yo
There are a few more roles here (same nationality leeway as above) but
these guys are a more grizzled and savvy. They know how the game is played,
and they know that there's no such thing as a free lunch. The silverbacks of
the corporate world - they may not be physically stronger, but the younger guys
know they're in charge.
As far as the other roles, I'll just lay out the rough guidelines:
3) Western expats - female - 25-35yo
4) Hong Kong locals - male - 25-35yo (fluent Cantonese and/or Mandarin speakers)
5) Hong Kong locals - male - 50-60yo
6) Extras - Male / Females
