Film is based around the character, Julia who is an early to mid-thirties woman, dark-haired and rugged-looking. In her younger years she was a high-priced escort; living fast, surrounded by dangerous people, and addicted to drugs. Although not directly stated, her life had always been on a downward trajectory due to an unseen, evil presence that shadowed her every move. Things came to head ten years ago, when, after a fight with her pimp, she took up with a heavy metal band one night. As it turns out, they had chosen that night to experiment with Satanism. This triggered the manifestation of her tormentor; a monstrous Demon, who arrived and slaughtered them all, leaving Julia alone and mentally broken.
Ten years later, a documentary crew has caught up with her, intrigued by her story and involvement with the disappearance of a group of young men. She has lived a hard life since then; she is addicted to hard drugs, and has been reduced to being a homeless beggar and street walker. Her recollection of events is dubious, and she at times is uncooperative, however as the story unfolds she slowly becomes more lucid and coherent.
