Thirteen Disciples is casting Lemon Tree Passage, an independent low-budget feature film by Australian Director, David Campbell. Format is HD digital cinema camera.

Synopsis:
A couple of Australians introduce three American backpackers to the local legend of Lemon Tree Passage where a ghost of a motorcyclist warns young drivers to slow down. After seeing the ghost first hand they uncover a malevolent force posses the area which threatens to wreak havoc on the final days of their vacation. Isolated and ten thousand miles from home the tourists find themselves caught in the clutches of an evil much more heinous than the local myth believes.

THE DIRECTOR

David Campbell is an advertising creative director, writer and director from Adelaide. At 28 he is not only South Australia’s youngest creative director, he is also the most internationally awarded with his work being recognised at major award shows in New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin and Sydney. He was recently awarded one of the advertising industries most prestigious awards with a Gold Clio and made the official selection at the 2012 Cannes Festival of Creativity.

He has directed several high profile national advertising campaigns and worked with some of Australia’s biggest names, including John Jarratt, Nick Giannopoulos, Akmal Saleh, Mark Holden and Russell Gilbert. Outside of advertising he has directed two short films called Afternoons With Max Marshall and Blind, a comedy starring Francis Greenslade. Lemon Tree Passage will be his breakout feature film.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Actors will be required from August 6th. Principal photography will occur in Australia from 12th August 2012 through to 31st August 2012.

Actors will either:

1. Hold a current passport and be eligible to apply for a working visa in Australia (no criminal convictions) OR
2. Be an Australian Citizen
