Science fiction writer and filmmaker, Ken Sibanda, to direct SPECIES VENUS; based on a short story and screenplay by Ken Sibanda. Ken Sibanda is known for The Return to Gibraltar: a novel that tells the story of a young African American time travelling to Spain in 1491. And for his work in the forthcoming feature film Hannibal The Great, based on the life of Carthaginian General Hannibal Barca son of Hamilcar Barca.

SPECIES VENUS tells the story of an alien species (formerly humans who colonize Venus in 2062) arriving on earth in 2084 and in need of biological help to preserve their species. The two foreign terrestrials (FTs) are soon in an uneasy alliance with the government and are told they will be unable to leave for Venus with two human specimens. And so the conflict begins……

SPECIES VENUS is a prequel to the feature film VINDICATOR.
A lawyer by training, Ken Sibanda graduated with a law degree from the University of London (with Honors) and Temple School of Law. University of London is also the alma mater of H.G Wells and Arthur C. Clarke, noted science fiction writers.
