'Come Into My Head' was written about the need to confront the chaos of each others' minds, in order to achieve the deepest sense of connection.

Set in a clinical mental institution, C.I.M.H follows the confrontation between Kimbra and her Doctor/Therapist.

Moving between the past (therapy sessions between Kimbra and her Doctor - where we observe the Doctor treating Kimbra as if a mathematical problem in need of 'solving') and the present (where Kimbra holds the Head Doctor captive in her 'cell') the piece moves towards the climax of a "self-operation"... where Kimbra raises a scalpel to her head, and begins to cut...

It is the most literal physical depiction of Kimbra's desperate need for her Doctor to see past science/fact, and enter a world far more unknown... her own mind.

We are looking for both the Doctor and also six blonde-bomb-shell nurses to fill with capable, talented actors.

Kimbra is signed to Warner Brother's in Los Angeles and her debut album was just released at #10 on the US album charts. Her previous music videos have been viewed by millions of people worldwide on YouTube.

We are shooting on the 23rd and 24th of July (just shy of two weeks away) in Parkville, Melbourne.

The Doctor will be required for two days while the nurses only for one.
For the Doctor we have a total of $400, for the nurses only $150 each.
Unfortunately travel to Melbourne is not included in the budget.

We will be holding auditions/screen tests this weekend in Prahran, Melbourne.
