‘Busking for Barnardos’: making a song and a dance about raising money for kids.
On June 16 2012 between 12.00 -4.00 p.m. Oxford St Mall Bondi Junction will be transformed into the Barnardos street fair as talented kids perform to help raise money for children less fortunate than themselves.
Performances will take place on 6 busking hotspots across the venue and will feature a dazzling array of singing, music, dance and drama from some of Sydney’s top schools.
Also appearing is our marvellous magician, Pip, recently seen wowing audiences on TV, professional face painters and more.
All money raised on the day will go towards helping the 32,000 children in Australia abused or neglected every year. That’s nearly 100 children a day, every day of the year that we will be able to better support and protect because of your help.
