We are a student production called Diverse Productions and are currently doing our last major project of the year and course. Our group consists of 2 males and 2 females, we are looking for reliable actors who are willing and determined. The auditions will be held on the 14th and 15th of May 2012 at Stockport College.

We will also be showcasing our final production on a show night on the 14th June in a theatre in front of an audience; tickets will also be allocated to each cast and crew member, so that you can bring friends and family along to the show night. Hard and digital copies of the final production will be provided to the entire cast and crew, and if requested showreel footage will also be provided.

We also try to accommodate our filming schedule around the actors’ availability. Also catering will be provided on production

The story is based around a girl called Shelly Dawson, she lives with her mother (Jane Dawson) and brother (Marcus Dawson), and her mother is an abusive alcoholic, and her father (Phil Edwards) completely neglects her. Shelly is left to look after her brother as her mother doesn't do much. Some of her friends care about her (Hannah Maxwell and Andre Cooper) and some use her (Calvin Young).

Shelly lives two lives, one on the street with her friends, she hangs around street corners with. The other life she lives is in her bedroom, where she works her hardest during the night to pass college and get into university, as she doesn't want to be like her mum or friends and wants a positive future.
