This short film is going to explore the effect of Bullet Time, most commonly seen in The Matrix. Effectively the film is going to explore an action heavy scene as if time has been stopped.
The plot of the film centers on two couples, Conrad and Genevieve, and David and Martha, who are longtime friends. Conrad and Genevieve have a prized possession that the other couple also deeply desire. David and Martha set out to steal this item as they invade Conrad and Genevieve's home. The story acts as a metaphor for the essence of film and cinema being replaced and stolen by the new digital age.
This is a student film so is unpaid, but will be great experience to explore the Bullet Time effect.
For this project acting ability isn't as necessary as the ability to generate good facial expressions, and the ability to stand/ sit/ kneel still (sometimes in awkward positions).

I appears that I did not put the shoot date. I have scheduled the shoot for next Saturday. I understand that this is late notice however because there are no lines and no actions, just poses, it shouldn't require too much rehearsal.

Additional Thief 1 is helping David and Martha acquire the prized possession. There is no dialogue, and no actions. As time is still and the thieves will be wearing masks there is only a need for the ability to stand/sit/kneel still maybe in an awkward position. As it is easier to have less people involved in a shoot and the "Additional Thieves" are going to be masked, they would appear in more than one scene, clocking up more screen time then the main characters.
