Set in 1971, a drama about a group of young idealists who are hiding in a cabin in the woods and planning an attack against the Government they believe is wielding an unlawful war in Vietnam. The film deals with love, passion and idealism as well as the bitter feelings of hopelessness, frustration and impotence.
Part of Griffith University's 2012 Graduate Film slate, "Radical" is a 10-minute short film to be shot in 4-5 days during the week of 25-31 June 2012 in South-East Queensland. We are looking to submit the final film to film festivals such as the Berlin International Film Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival.
We will be casting over the weekend of 12-13 May at Griffith University's South Bank Campus.

Micah McCrae - SUPPORT
Micah is quiet, unsociable, daunting and mean. A drifter in life, he is driven by his longing for the reverence and adoration of others around him, but is incapable of awakening those feelings in them. In his attempt to wield power within this group of young adults Micah only succeeds in escalating their radicalism towards the imminent attack against the establishment. He is driven by the promise of power, danger and the darker aspects of radicalism.

He is silently and patiently working on bringing their plans from the realm of hypothetical to reality. And he just can't wait.
