A 15 minute Short Film being produced at the International Film School Sydney.
Having an older brother as a hired brute for the local crimes elite has proven a tough role model for Fin. An ambitious young artist with dreams of making it big and escaping to something more.
Fins eye for a local waitress drives him to convince his brother out of a life of crime, and both of them into a more normal life. But when 'Luna', an infamous crime boss, offers Ray one last job. The way out may be a lot further off than he predicted.
A quirky, crime driven thriller/drama, Mezzaluna is looking for enthusiastic, trained actors and extras that aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and have some fun!
A great crew is set for this project and plans for Mezzaluna to be entered to International Film Festivals is set for the second half of the year once post production has been finalised.
The film is to be shot with a Panasonic AF100 using prime lenses as well as all the latest equipment in Sound, Jibs, Dolly's to create a professional and dynamic project.
This is a volunteer project, however you will be reimbursed for any transport costs and catering will be provided each day of shooting.
Mezzaluna is planned to be a 4 day shoot from 21st March 2012 - 24th March 2012.

- In Studio at the 'International Film School Sydney 27 Rosebery Ave, Rosebery NSW 2018'
- Final locations to be confirmed but will be in the sydney metropolitan area no further than 20 minutes from Sydney CBD.

A young man with a quiet confidence. Mature for his age and with a sensible public demeanour, Fin
wants to better his and his brothers life by leaving crime and violence behind. Opting not to get
involved in his brothers business and taking refuge in his drawings.

Well known for his use of violence, Ray is also a family man. Caring for his younger brother and looking for a way out of his life of crime.

Local crimes leading lady. Her sharp witted nature and blunt use of words have gained Janice notoriety and respect over the years. Though favouring diplomacy she is no stranger to violence with her favoured weapon of choice the 'Mezzaluna', hence her nickname.

Camilla
