A short film about a boy who tries to grow up too quickly. In an effort to be more like his father, Nick puts his childhood into a box and buries it in the backyard. As an adult he then struggles to make connections with others, particularly with his family.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Paul

Paul is the father of Nick. Paul refuses to connect with his son. Paul thinks of himself as a man of great power who deserves respect and should not have to interact with those who are ‘beneith him’. He is very uncomfortable with emotion, in particular with his family he sees them as a financial burden rather than seeing his responsibility to love them and bring them up with gentleness.
