No Company is a graduating short film from Swinburne University.
The film is set in German occupied Norway during the Second World War and follows the journey of Ulrich, a German soldier who deserts his company out of fear and a desire to see his family. Ulrich comes across a group of wild children who he ultimately protects by sacrificing himself.
The film will be shot in Victoria in mid July.
We are seeking several German speaking roles as well as several non German speaking roles.

Ulrich
After experiencing his first time in combat, Ulrich deserts his company out of fear, and a desire to see his family, including his young daughter, Gretta.
Alone in the desolate forest, Ulrich is soon captured by a group of violent, other-worldly children, who choose not to show their faces or speak a word.
Ulrich must learn to overcome his fear and in doing so, eventually protects the children by giving himself up to the German army.

German Officer
At the start of the film the German Officer chases Ulrich into the woods. After losing sight of Ulrich he slows to a halt.
Taking time to think, he tries to scare Ulrich out of his hiding spot. After failing to do so, he has a moment to himself and is soon shot by an unknown source in the woods.
