'Gone' is a drama about Sophie, a teenage girl who has disappeared, leaving no clues or trace of what has happened to her or if she is alive or dead. The film is set one year after her disappearance and follows her father Joseph, who in one last attempt to find her goes to the last location she was seen alive, an old abandoned factory. Through flashbacks of their families troubled life together and present day shots of Joseph's journey through the factory we see him gradually begin to lose touch with reality. And as the darkness sets in, the ghosts of the factory come out.

Joseph

Joseph is a troubled man. He's a workaholic and has developed a drinking problem and an addiction to anti depressants. He ignores his family, especially his daughter Sophie and is unable to accept that her or his own mental illness. Now he's trying to find her in an effort to make up for something that he was never able to give her when she was there.
