In the short film Newborn, two apartment building security guards are forced to battle an infant monster born from the infected corpse of a building tenant. Enraged by the use of electronic equipment, the monster locates and horrifically kills anyone doing so in close proximity. In the heat of a long summer night, the security guards must revert to a primal state in order to try and deal with the creature. Will they get through their shift alive, or are they – and perhaps the whole human race – doomed?
