Guilty Consequence is a short film about a young girl named Tash. Tash is a 17 year old who likes to bully other girls. When one of her victims tries to commit suicide, a quiet and pleasant girl named Lily, Tash finds herself in court charged with causing harm to another person via her abusive actions.
Our film starts with her leaving court having being found not guilty by the jury, she told the magistrate that she only meant it as a joke. Tash goes to meet her boyfriend Craig feeling pretty pleased with herself, not feeling one bit guilty about what she’s done to Lily, she’s mostly just happy with the lie she told; she did mean to hurt Lily.
She arrives at the Café where Craig is waiting for her, and they discuss what happened in the court. Tash tells Craig that she wants to go to Lily’s house to show off about how she’s got away with it, and Craig feels that this is a bad idea. Tash leaves Craig, in a slightly bad mood.
She gets to Lily’s house and is met at the door by a man she hasn’t seen before, an unshaven, depressed looking man. He invites her in and reveals that he is Lily’s Uncle Neil, watching the house while her dad picks her up from the hospital. Tash starts to feel uncomfortable, not as confident as she was with Craig.
She pretends to be just a sympathetic friend and not the cause of the Neil’s, but what Tash doesn’t know is that Neil already knows who she is. The scene ends with Neil revealing his secret and confronting Tash angrily, telling her that she deserves to be punished for what she’s done, just as they hear Lily and her dad come into the house.
