Someday” is a reflective monologue, spoken by a man who is looking back on his life. He recounts how he was always too afraid to start a relationship with the only girl he loved, and the film poignantly articulates his inner conflict between the safety of their friendship, and the risk of wanting something more. “Someday” explores the love he bottles up, the consequences of his indecisiveness, and why we should seize every moment.

The production "Someday" is crewed by an extended branch of film school students who strive for excellence in their craft. It will be entered into a variety of Australian film festivals, thus giving the cast and crew a broad spectrum of industry exposure. The crew has been hand-picked by the director to be level-headed, ambitious, creative, passionate, and hard working, and everyone will be pulling positively towards the same goal. Talent which comes on board will be welcomed into an environment where the #1 priority is to convey a story which strikes a chord with a viewer.

Actors for multiple roles will be needed, and while prior experience would be welcomed, it is not essential so long as the applicant has a high level of skill and confidence in their acting (especially in their facial expressions and body language). The characterisation of the actors & actresses will be what the film stands and falls on. The director, Roy Kolberg, will be working closely with whoever comes on board prior to the shooting dates, to ensure that the performance not only makes the film look good, but is also something which can gain the actor/actress recognition by viewers of the film.

"Someday" will be shot around mid-late July (current predictions see a week of filming from July 16th - July 22nd, but this is subject to change). Auditions will be held from Thursday 21st June - Wednesday 27th June. This production will be a very heartfelt journey which is close to the director's heart, and we would love to hear from anyone who is interested.
