A female aged between 8 - 13 and another aged 14 to 17 required for a dramatic short film.

The film, Locked In, is centred around a middle-aged man who suffers from Locked In Syndrome. Unable to move his body but still has all brain function, the main character is unable to communicate to his loved ones and survives off machines.

The role the 8-13 year old will play is as the main character's young daughter, Fiona. Fiona must learn to deal with her father's condition without fully comprehending the severity of it. She is overall an optimistic girl but as time goes on she begins to be effected by her suppressing surroundings.

The role the older girl will play is as the main character's teenage daughter, Fiona. Throughout the film Fiona undergoes a rebellious phase, donning dark make-up and becomes unable to communicate effectively with her mother. Fiona struggles more to connect with her mother when her mother gets remarried which Fiona takes as a sign of abandonment. The film follows Fiona as she learns to deal with her father's condition and ultimately, learn to let her father die peacefully.

The actresses will need to be available for an audition and rehearsals. The film will be shot over an entire week, with a full crew comprising of graduating film students from Bond University. The film will be shot over a week with the minor expected to be present for an estimated two-three days of filming. Filming will occur between mid-September to early October with exact dates to be confirmed.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Fiona, daughter to Paul, the main character. She has grown up thinking her father is in a vegetative state. She has undergone a gothic phase but eventually grows out of it.
