It’s another day at the University of Western Sydney: students are out in spades attending lectures, chilling outside the café, sitting on the grass, begrudgingly studying in the library. We begin to follow three students as they seem to take on a life of their own – one girl enters a bathroom and begins to hear voices, another climbs to the roof of a building, the third clenches onto a pen and threatens his girlfriend with it.
The girl slices her wrists open.
A body falls from the roof.
The guy stabs himself.
Chaos ensues.
A day later no one can explain what has happened. The Board has declared the university be closed down until an investigation can uncover the truth. A group of students arrive that afternoon – unaware of the closure but are turned away by competent and highly underpaid security guards. They obey, but later sneak into the grounds and furthermore into a building – bringing with them an unhealthy amount of alcohol and plans for an impromptu party.
All of a sudden their phones go off: a video gone viral of the preceding day’s events suddenly reaffirms the seriousness of the situation they have put themselves in and, seconds later, they discover there is no escape. One by one they are picked off by an unseen, unspecified force. What is lurking in the shadows, and can those who survive figure out the mystery before it’s too late?
We're seeking six actors for lead roles in this short horror film.
We need to complete the project by Tuesday the 22nd of May 2012.
We are broke, university students; if we scrap together our savings we might be able to pay for food and cover transport costs.
Shooting dates are yet to be confirmed, and will be carried out at the University of Western Sydney (Penrith Campus).

To all applicants,
We would like to advise you that auditions will be held for all 6 main characters on Saturday 14th of April in Homebush, Sydney (precise address will be emailed to you). Auditions will start at 0830 sharp and will run until 1030 approximately, keeping in mind you will not be required for the full length of the auditions.
This audition gives us an opportunity to meet you and for you to express interest in your desired role and any raise questions you may have about the project. This audition will require a short reading of the script for the character you are interested in (approximately 2-5min).
IMPORTANT: Those auditioning for the either role of PATRICK or ASHLEIGH will also require to do a audition together to scope the dynamics between the two actors, as these two characters are written as a couple in the screenplay. (Within the production, there will be appropriate intimacy (a kiss) between these two characters, if you have any concerns regarding this please feel free to raise it with us).
Scripts for auditions will be made available by Monday 9th of April and will also be supplied on the day if need be. It is expected that you know you're lines for your desired role. If you wish to audition for multiple roles, please communicate this with us prior to the audition.
As soon as convenient, send us a message confirming you're availability for this audition date, the role/s you are interested in, a contact number and any queries you may have.
There are also several minor roles that are available and will be made known during the auditions, so even if you are not successful in attaining a lead role, we are more than happy to extend minor roles, or extras if you are still interested in being part of the project.
