Analysts at a government military installation are given specific instructions on protocols to follow when an emergency strikes.
But when these protocols are put to the test, mankind is saved, but his humanity may be lost.

SUSAN GRAVES, early 40s, attractive, has risen to the top of the ranks in her department. Although just a civilian analyst, she often encounters military personnel but can hold her own using her wry wit and booksmarts.

Often isolated in her department because of her high security clearance, her routine is altered one day when she's assigned to train a new employee.

BEN JOHNSON, early 40s, nebbish, balding, has Susan to thank for his new promotion. He tries to keep up with her on the first day, bumbling through the maze of security clearances just to get inside the office.

Once there the two old friends begin to settle into their new workspace. During Ben's training, a routine emergency drill blasts over the loudspeaker. This gives the nervous Ben a jolt, but also a good opportunity to see what he'll have to look forward to in Sector J.

When the alarms stay blaring, this alerts Susan into thinking that this may not be a drill after all. Regretably, she must now enact the protocals for an actual emergency, with serious consequences for all involved.

Benjamin Johnson

Early forties, nebbish, balding, short, your typical nerd. Likeable and somewhat uncoordinated, he doens't have too many social skills. A very smart and loyal guy, he really beleives in his research.

Males, aged 38 to 45 from Australia

Susan Graves

Early 40s, divorced research analyst. Bookish, glasses (?), but still looks great under those strange white jackets they have to wear. (Think Sarah Palin) Smart, and with a wry wit, she is used to working alone.

Females, aged 38 to 45 from Australia

Alec Montgomery

Distinguished, handsome, somewhat sinister, government bad guy. A company man all the way - he makes and breaks the rules.

Males, aged 45 to 60 from Australia

Military Personnel

Various soldiers in uniform, guarding the installation and rushing about.

Any gender, aged 22 to 40 from Australia
