A tatty space ship is occupied by a bunch of clueless adventurers attempting to explore space with the knowledge of Star Trek and spandex outfits.
They come accross aliens on their jumbotron who have the silliest faces and outfits causing the crew to laugh at them resulting in a war between planets
The crew have no experience as space explorers as they bought a second hand ship made of recycled playgrounds and entered the atmosphere by their imagination
The crew all come from BTEC college courses resulting in amatuer and hammy acting with intentionally unintentional humour thrown in
Through thier imagination in a crappy space ship in a decrepid drama studio somehwere in Slough, these "actors" save the "Universe" by doing absolutely nothing of importance.
The alien on board is a sci-fi geek that bought a plastic head from eBay, his name is ARRRRRGH!!!!

One is a tall, sassy blonde with killer looks and no brain, she questions everything including her own questions, and sometimes answers her own questions with more questions before answering them with an answer loosely based on a question.
Another female is the mature brunnette with leadership qualities, she is well versed in her passion for exploration and has an eye for adventure and risk

The Strong minded Captain, supposed to be called Captain Planet, but he missed out the E and inadvertantly avoided copyright issues.
He is looked at as a natural leader, calm, concise and in control, the ladies love him which makes him impress them in return by accidentally starting wars with aliens to win their planets and name them after the ladies.
