TRACKS. is an original fresh drama exploring family ties and the meaning of freedom, friendship and inner truth. I am looking for actors to play various characters, and will update this posting with information as soon as I have it. Auditions will be around April, with filming begnning in September after the Pre-Production period.
*Please note, this drama has a strong urban feel. Actors should be comfortable with the use of strong language and potentially scenes depicting violence and poverty.*
Work is unpaid, but a copy of the final cut will be given after post-production, and a reference will be given to all actors who participate. This film will potentially be submitted to various film festivals and will be submitted for awards, so this would be great exposure.

Harry
Harry is Sians brother. Young, naeive in the wider scheme of things, yet very cheeky and streetwise. He takes life as it is given to him, and looks up to his older sister a great deal.

Sian
Sian is the main character in this film. She comes from an urban background, and is neglected by her mother who is constantly distracted with her new boyfriend, Paul. Sian is often alone at school, outcast by her peers because she wears cheap clothes and no makeup. She wants to escape her unhappy home life, yet feels she has a responsibilty to her brother, Harry. The actress playing this role must be comfortable using strong language and must also be very expressionate.

Jade
Jade is the female alternate for Harry. After some consideration I have decided to allow girls to audition for the role os Sians younger sibling.
Sian is aged around 6/7 years old, and should have a slight build, and short-average height.
