We're looking for 17 guys and 7 girls to star in the first episode of the series
Troth is the new and exciting web-series that will be hitting the net in early 2010. TROTH will be the first and only real-time, real-life, immediate feedback, multiple outcome interactive series on the
internet.
TROTH is an independently funded, action-adventure, based on the life of a hitman called Gabriel Troth.
In episode 1, Gabriel is faced with what he thinks is a routine contract. What he discovers, will change the world forever.
Being an interactive series where the viewer controls the main character and gets to choose the outcome, we thought it only appropriate to let the public choose the cast as well.
Applicants will need to progress through an online casting process to be successful. The process works in 3 stages:
VOTING STAGE - Troth is in the process of compiling a database of male and female applicants from all over the world
that the public can vote for, to play the various characters in the series.
PROFILING STAGE - The top 102 guys and 42 girls that receive the most number of votes in
the Voting stage will then be partnered to the characters from the episode. Based on the character sketch,
profile and appearance, the public will then once again vote for who they think has the best match.
CASTING STAGE - The top 51 guys and 21 girls that receive the most number of votes in the
Profiling stage will then be asked to perform various short scenes from the episode. These scenes will be recorded and posted
online for the public to once again vote for, based on the individual's performance and talent.
SHOWTIME - The 17 guys and 7 girls that emerge from the Casting stage with the highest average rating and votes, will be cast in the pilot episode of Troth to be filmed in South Africa.
There are 12 episodes in the series, each played out in a different city across the world as Gabriel races to save what's left of our faith...or is he?

Gabriel - Series Lead
Males, aged 30 to 35
An experienced, strong and steely hitman. However, for all his transgressions, he possesses a very human side. He says very little and slowly begins to realise that killing is not always wrong...if it's for the right reasons. He needs a reason...

Madison - Series Lead
Females, aged 25 to 30
A cool, smart and aloof female full of surprises that Gabriel has to deal with more and more as the story unwinds. She is very similar to Gabriel in many ways and he begins to believe he has found his reason...but nothing is ever as it seems.

Kluger - Series Lead
Males, aged 40 to 60
A dark and sinister character that always seems to be one step ahead of Gabriel at all times. A threat or a guardian? He is very deliberate and exact in his actions, but is that why he is the way he is? Or is there another reason...
