We are a newly formed Carlow based theatre company, called 'Slapdash Theatre Company', and we are holding auditions for our summer production of William Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. We shall be staging our innovative and exciting production in the Delta Sensory Gardens in Carlow town. We are seeking actors of all ages and caliber to help bring our creative vision to life! While we are staying true to the original in terms of text, we feel the outdoor staging of the play, some playful movement and a Celtic theme will invigorate the legendary play and make for an invigorating and fun evening of theatre!

This is a profit-share production.

We are aiming to run the show in the third or last week of July, but dates are yet to be confirmed.

We will need full commitment, passion and energy from everyone! You will have to be free to rehearse at least 1-2 times a week, and more in the run up to the show. We want to put everything we can in this production; it will be challenging but SO rewarding, and of course, a lot of fun too.
