The 48 Hour musical is an exciting project whereby a completely original piece of musical theatre is conceived, written, rehearsed and performed within 48 hours. We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and dedicated musical theatre performers to audition for the project.

Overview:
Day 1:
At 7pm, team of creatives meet for an intense 24-hour writing and composing session, resulting in an hour-long piece of brand spanking new musical theatre.

Day 2:
The director, musical director, choreographer and technical team work with actors and musicians for the final 24 hours to produce a performance that begins exactly 48 hours after the creative process began.

The audition will consist of sight singing as well as musical improvisation; auditionees should be comfortable with notated music and be able to think on their feet.
