Alto, Mid 20’s
By day, she is a ticket booth receptionist at the Union Station, by night, a singer at the local Speakeasy. Wesley Schloob
Baritone, Late 20’s
Harvey’s only child and Editor of the St. Louis Star-Times. Wesley is a smart, efficient, and ambitious businessman anxious to demonstrate his abilities separate from his father’s paper and influence. He is in love with Zoey and sees them spending their lives together. However, unresolved issues between Wesley and his father lend to difficulty in expressing appreciation and affection. Wesley bears hard features and sports a soft cream suit.

Harvey Schloob
Tenor, Late 50’s
Owner of the St. Louis Star-Times. Harvey’s core motivation is to preserve the paper and see it pass on to his son. A critical juncture in his life came when he lost his true love, Zoey’s mother, to another man. Harvey has since raised Zoey from childhood after her mother’s death. Stout and rugged, pain from his past softens his hard stature. Dreary blues and grays, his suits carry subtle flair with compliments of a cigar.
