Looking for six actors/actresses for a Film Noir student project entitled ‘A Beautiful Danger’
Brief Synopsis:

Joe White is a detective living on the hard streets of 1930’s Sydney. It’s a time of triumph and torment with great marvels such as the completion of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, standing side by side with raging poverty and unemployment. In these hard times more and more people turn to ‘other means’ to make ends meat and it’s Joe’s dark duty to combat the crime of the city. Joe is tough and world-weary and the only beauty he finds in life is listening to the singing of the beautiful Belinda in a downtown Jazz Club.
After watching a deal between a small time crime figure, Matthew James, and a mysterious man, Joe later finds Matthew James murdered. Joe has lost his lead to a larger organization but is then confronted by Belinda who has found herself in danger as a witness to the murder. Seeing an opportunity for a lead and unable to leave Belinda in any sort of danger, he seeks to protect Belinda. After evading the suspected murderer Joe and Belinda return to his apartment where Belinda’s betrayal becomes evident when she shoots Joe leaving him for dead.
Acting experience essential.
Auditions will be in The University of Western Sydney, Penrith. In Werrington South Campus in Building BB.
