Student film project for Media A level looking for two actors, male and female aged 35-60
Student film project for Media A level, (3 students, Esher college, Thames Ditton)looking for TWO actors, male and female. Only travel expenses can be paid for, as we have no budget for this film. Professional recording/editing equipment will be used to create film. We can offer a copy of the film to each actor (so can be used in a portfolio). Urgently need actors; this film is very important to our A level and therefore the project is being taken very seriously.
Synopsis:

A girl supposedly runs away from home at a very young age. The mother fully believes her daughter has run away, but in actual fact she is being locked up by her father in a basement below the house. The father rapes and abuses the daughter (rape scenes will NOT be included in film. just implied), and she becomes weak and frail. After years of abuse she one day hears a different movement above the house; a detective comes to investigate the disappearance of the daughter. She becomes hopeful at the thought of freedom, yet after some time the detective leaves without discovering her. In a state of deep depression she takes her own life. The film concludes with the arresting of the father, yet tragically it is too late to recover the daughter.
