Blunderbuss is a short-film set in an alternative reality in which a Crime Lord, Tony Callioti (Name to be confirmed) has kidnapped the girlfriend of a former associate, Jackie - after a deal went sour. Jackie immediately goes in search of a man with a 'special skill set' in order to aid him in the retrieval of his beloved. The story then splits off and follows the path of Knox and Mr. Berry; two men who have been employed by Jackie to both seek out Tony and rescue Anna. However, they're in for more than they bargained for when they realise that others possess the same elusive 'skill-set' as themselves.

Without giving too much away, that's pretty much the basic plot of Blunderbuss. So now's as good-a-time as any for me to introduce myself... I'm Oren, the guy who planted the seed, bore the idea and wrote the script. I’m currently living in London with a dream bigger than the Universe. I’m a university student studying Psychology with Criminology, as well as a teacher at a Theatre School. I have a wide range of experience under my belt including but not limited to, acting, theatre production, script-writing and PodCasting. I also write, direct and edit all of my videos on my YouTube channel, and love doing all these things in my free time.

Blunderbuss is a project that I've been working on for a while now, and so far it's been a lot of fun. The script is complete, and pre-production is in full swing. I'm now just looking for anyone and everyone who is willing to get involved and make my short-film a reality.

Currently, I am unable to offer any kind of payment for any positions as I'm still a student myself, and haven't got adequate enough funding. However, I can of course offer full-credit and perhaps some recognition as I will be submitting the film to festivals and the like.

I am also in the process of setting up an IndieGoGo campaign in an attempt to raise some funds for the film. Whilst this isn't live yet, I am planning to ask for £2700, which should cover things like: Travel expenses, location fees, permits, and some new equipment. Please remember, this is not set in stone!

So, what is it I ask of you then?

Well, I still need an actor to play the Crime Lord as well as still needing someone to play the short role of Jessica. As for crew members, I still need a Cinematographer (and/or Director of Photography), as well as a Sound Mixer.
