Blue Border Sports are looking for individuals to join their growing bowls production team.
Following on from the success of our initial production of the Pudsey Classic last year, we are looking to expand our team with an additional camera operator and a production assistant required.
While previous experience is desirable, it is not a necessity. A passion for sports broadcasting and team working with the ability to function independently is however essential.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for some hands on work experience and to expand their portfolio.

Production Assistant
A jack of all trades role, the Production Assistant will primarily aid the Producer and help with the filming of the production, helping with directing the camera operators, ensuring the remote cameras are working, monitoring sound levels and liaising with the on air talent.
The role will also require the assistant to provide relief cover for the camera operators and so a keen eye for filming will be required.
A developing role, ideally suited to a highly driven individual who is adaptable
Camera Operator
Camera operator required for filming of crown green bowls. The onus will be on the camera operator to find the best shot, working in unison with the main camera operator to ensure all angles covered and an acceptable picture is provided by at least one camera at a time.
