Film crew needed to work on Layney; a 30 minute gritty urban short drama based film about an emotional young girl's journey. Layney is about an 18 year old girl who has grown up in care since the age of 8, and has recently been fostered by a couple. Layney has emotional and behavioural difficulties, which leads her to take drugs and drink too much alcohol, as well as causes her to get into a lot of trouble with the police. At her latest court appearance, the judge ruled that Layney has to attend a Young Offenders School Unit, which takes in Young Offenders aged 18 - 25, daily, Monday - Friday to get them off the street to give them something constructive to do. At the Unit, the Young Offenders get anger management classes, how to control drug and alcohol abuse classes, councelling, as well as English, Maths and Science classes. This short film shows Layney's emotional and behavioural problems both at home and the unit.

Film crew needed consist of lighting/sound, make up artist and an experienced cinematographer to get the correct angles we need, possibly one who also has experience of filming fight scenes. All crew must have own equipment and be able to edit the film ready for the Premiere.

Film crew would have to be avaialable ASAP with view to film for 2 weeks to fit around everyone's schedule.
