Superficially the plot of this film is standard horror fare: Two young women are abducted by a psychotic surgeon who is scarring women, lacerating their skin but keeping them alive. However, at the core this film is about body image. It is about the effect men, the media and society have on the way women see themselves. It is a film that celebrates natural feminine beauty whilst not condemning those who make the conscious choice to change the way they look, however they go about that.
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
