Any Genre/type feature length narrative film over 60 minutes in length. Directed by a professional, first time or graduate program student. Short Narrative The short narrative is open to any genre/type of narrative film or video by professional, first-time and graduate program filmmakers. Shorts 2 Any genre/type narrative short UNDER 10 MINUTES produced by professional, first-time or graduate program filmmakers. Mini-Docs Any genre/type documentary under 30 minutes produced by a professional, first time or graduate student program. Feature Documentary Feature Documentary category is open to all documentary subjects over 60 minutes. Music Videos Music Video category is for any genre of music videos. Many directors begin their careers working on music videos and we want the audience to see your work!! Videos should be under 5 minutes Student Shorts Student Directed or Produced short films under 20 minutes. Must be a current enrolled undergrad student or below. Animated Shorts Animated Short films of any type or genre under 20 minutes. Webisode Pilots This new category is open to any genre Webisode Pilot The mission of FirstGlance is to provide a casual, competitive event, giving opportunities to professional, first-time and student film makers in the US and the world, and to exhibit , promote and get higher visibility for truly indie filmmaking. FirstGlance Film Fests are open to all genres of filmmaking and is an international event, taking submissions from across the globe from professional, first-time, student, undergrad, and high school filmmakers. Our 2010 Hollywood event will be our 10th FirstGlance Film Fest Hollywood, and to celebrate, we will be offering up to $10,000.00 in cash prizes. Each category that receives 200 or more entries during our call for submissions is eligible. Which means FirstGlance may be awarding 1,000 in cash in each category, alongside the ever growing prize package valued at over $15,000. Location: California, United States Payment details: no pay
